Carolyn attended a stained glass making course in 2000 and it went from there.
Carolyn now has her own workshop set up and spends most of her days working there.
She makes all her own designs and produces the patterns used to cut the glass.
The individual pieces of glass are cut to shape by hand and ground to smooth the edges and refine the joins.
After the glass is cleaned, copper foil is put around all the edges and then burnished, fluxed and soldered.
The finished piece is then washed to remove all traces of the flux and a small dragonfly is etched.
